How to create an amazing ecommerce website from scratch

We are going to make our E-Commerce Website in four Parts.

Part: 1 Launch your website

Step:1 To choose your website name.

In order to start making an E-Commerce website, you have to choose a domain name for your website.

Step : 2 Get domain & Hosting.

Once you find your site's name, the next step is to get Domain and Hosting.

Step : 3 Install WordPress

Once you got your domain and hosting, now you have to setup your website using Wordpress.

Now Wordpress is the tool we will use to create our ecommerce website.

WordPress allows you to easily create a website without any coding or programming.

To open  your Website's admin panel

"domain/wp-admin"

eg. www.thedigitalhike.com/wp-admin

i) Add your domain name in Hostinger admin panel.

ii) Click AutoInstaller and Install Wordpress.

Now you can check your website preview , your website is live now

Part: 2 Start building your E-commerce site

i) Choose any E-Commerce compatible theme.

ii) Install & activate a plugin called Woo-Commerce.

Now to setup your store Make product and Brand categories using Category option.

Once you added your categories now you can add your desired products to your store.

You can add Products using Add new option given in  Products.

During Adding product you will get two option for product description.

Short Description:  For product specifications.

Now complete the other given options like General, Inventory and Shipping.

Here you will get two terms,

Up Sell : These are the related products that appears on the product page.

Cross Sell : These are the related products that appears on the cart page.

Here you can add four types of products

i)  Simple Product

ii) Grouped Product

iii) External/Affiliate products

iv) Variable Product

Part: 3  Setup your payment method

Before customers can pay for your product, you need to set up a payment method.

These are various payment gateways like

i) Razorpay

ii) CC Avenue

iii) Paytm

You can use any of them.

And you have to install and activate the plugin the gateway you are using.

Now, your customer can view your products and buy them also.
